Sheshush = Jesus

Ma = Mack

Carson is such a chatter box!! He never stops talking. He says words but also babbles all time. It's so cute! He is so expressive. It's like he is totally having a conversation with you. He also yells and/or growls  at random people in the store or at church. It's pretty funny. I just love my Carcar man!!
I got this idea from little miss momma.

I'm weird because
I sleep in socks
I like to dip toasted, buttered bagels in tomato soup
The smell of onions makes me gag
I HATE grocery shopping
Carson has stinky feet but I still kiss them every time I change his diaper or clothes
I check on Carson every night before I go to bed
I usually takes me much longer to fall asleep than it takes hubster
I'm not afraid to pee in front of hubster or my friends
I like our room to be really cold when we go to bed
I make hottie hubster roll over when he is snoring
I dance and sing out in public
Vacuuming makes me happy
I like to watch TV with the volume really quiet
I think burping is more gross than farting

I'm a bad friend because
I forget to respond to text messages
I don't always comment back on FB
I sometimes cancel playdates/ plans

I'm a good friend because
I never judge
I give advice but don't expect them to take it if they don't want to
I will love your kids and do anything for them
I just want to see you happy
I'll rescue you in stressful times

I'm sad because
Carson is growing up so fast
I can't hold my newest nephew until January
Our family is in several different states and we don't get to see them very often

I'm happy because
I have a strong, healthy husband and a strong, healthy son
Carson knows who Jesus is and recognizes him in pictures
Rob has Christmas weekend off
We get to go to Phoenix in January to spend time with Rob's family
We have some really really exciting changes happening in our life right now!!

I'm excited for
See above :)
New season of Teen Mom 2
Going to costco this afternoon with my mom
Christmas time! Music, cold weather, giving, decorating, reading Christmas stories, watching Christmas movies, being in awe of Mary and the true meaning of Christmas.

Your turn!

Randoms

I am up so early because Carson soaked through his diaper so the poor baby was freezing! He also sleep pooped. Don't you hate when they do that? It makes his poor little bummy sore.
Carson can go up stairs. Did we teach him this? No. We don't have stairs in our apartment but we do have them right outside our front door. I wanted to see what he would do so I let him wander out there and up he went!
Carson can also climb up on the couch now. Seriously, you cannot take your eyes off this kid!

In other news, we have some really exciting changes coming to our family!!! Stay tuned to find out what!

I liked this.

A little boy asked his mother, "Why are you crying?" "Because I'm a woman," she told him.
"I don't understand," he said. His Mom just hugged him and said, "And you never will."

Later the little boy asked his father, "Why does mother seem to cry for no reason?"

"All women cry for no reason," was all his dad could say.

The little boy grew up and became a man, still wondering why women cry.

Finally he put in a call to God. When God got on the phone, he asked, "God, why do women cry so easily?"

God said, "When I made the woman she had to be special.

I made her shoulders strong enough to carry the weight of the world,

yet gentle enough to give comfort.

I gave her an inner strength to endure childbirth and the rejection that many times comes from her children.

I gave her a hardness that allows her to keep going when everyone else gives up, and take care of her family through sickness and fatigue without complaining.

I gave her the sensitivity to love her children under any and all circumstances, even when her child has hurt her very badly.

I gave her strength to carry her husband through his faults and fashioned her from his rib to protect his heart.

I gave her wisdom to know that a good husband never hurts his wife, but sometimes tests her strengths and her resolve to stand beside him unfalteringly.

And finally, I gave her a tear to shed. This is hers exclusively to use whenever it is needed."

"You see my son," said God, "the beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair.

The beauty of a woman must be seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart - the place where love resides."

10 for Friday

1. Carson just wants to he held today. He's heavy but I don't mind. Between lifting at the gym and carrying him around I am going to be Buffy McBuffster.

2. Rob is growing out a mustache for No Shave November. Ew. He is one gorgeous man but he does not look good with a mustache. I told him No Shave November is No....ahem....November. We'll see how long he keeps the stache ;)

3. Last night we had 3 other couples over for game night. It as a blast! It was also nice to be able to hang out with just grown ups. No kids! We're planning on having game night once a month. Thanks everyone for coming!!

4. It's really hard to be on the computer when Car is around.
If only I looked as patient as she does.

5. Ok, have you watched the show New Girl? If you don't, you should. It. Is. Hilarious. We literally laugh out loud. I hate to say this but......we like it better than The Office. Seriously, it's that funny.

5. Current obsession: Cold Milky Way. De. Lish.

6. Carson is standing next to me doing this.....

7. We got new curtains for our front window. I LOVE them. They are also wonderful and keeping the heat in.

8. I was really excited for daylight savings time on Sunday but then I remembered that I have a one year old. It totally throws babies/kids off.

9. We didn't get ONE trick-or-treater this year!! Oh well, more candy for me us!!

10. Carson knows who Jesus is. When I ask him where Jesus is he looks right at the picture we have on him on our living room wall and says, "Zeesus." It's darling.

Well that's all I've got for now. Carson's diaper is starting to stink up the whole room. Maybe next week I'll actually have 15 for Friday. Have a great, safe weekend!!
